An employability skills competition conducted at area K-12 schools. Students proceed through multiple rounds to demonstrate essential workplace behaviors that employers consistently value but rarely have time to teach during hiring.
Minimum Time: 3 Hours Per Year
Maximum Time: Professionals can judge as many sessions and districts as they want. Each round requires a minimum of two (2) hours of participation.
Time Required
School districts invite public-facing and leadership-level professionals to serve as judges. Individuals from all industries are encouraged to participate.
Professionals Requested
Every employer should nominate at least one (1) professional annually.
Each judging round requires a different number of judges. The maximum number of professionals needed for a single round of judging is 50.

Audience
Depends on the district; currently serving 3rd through 7th-grade students.
School districts may ask judges to complete paperwork with the office. No other preparation is necessary to serve as a judge.
Preparation and Follow-Up
Allows students to turn professional skills into a live, practiced experience—guided by the very employers students may work for one day.
